Default What Should a Polite Gentleman Always Carry With Him?

http://lifestyle.msn.com/relationshi...5978&GT1=32001

Apparently only a handkerchief is now required. But how many modern gents actually carry one? Also, it doesn't seem very practical/sanitary.

So, what should a PUA always carry with him?

To start:
1. a nice pen
2. paper (I like business cards of women)
3. condom
4. another condom
5. openers/routines cheat sheet

Wow,

Good post. Funny how the hankerchief still reigns over everything. Is Miss Manners trying to imply that the gentlemen always dress in suit?

Where can a guy who dresses in jeans and a T-shirt rock a handkerchief (besides tucked somewhere in his pocket which doesn't show anyway) to where it makes him look stylish and more "gentleman" like?

Seems like the only way to rock a handkerchief (in stylish terms) would be to don it with a sports coat or suit.

And from what she mentioned I'd definitely say that you will gain points from women if you are wearing that Sport coat/ Suit coat and you "do" have a handkerchief in the right place.

I like where her head is at. We could definitely learn alot from her blog/webpage or whatever it is.

PS: I'd only heard of "Miss Canners" (where the female host Adrea Lowel answers callers' questions' topless) from the Playboy morning Radio show (pretty good show btw). Now I know where the playboy morning show got the saying from ;-)

Well you could tie it around your neck but then that would give out the wrong gentleman message lol

I find pen and paper very try-hard and gimmicky at this point. When I started out I thought it was the shit. Doing Style's rip-the-paper-in-half number close trick. Then I graduated to "give me your #." Now I just get them to # close me. The more of a big deal the #close seems, the worse effect it has on the # converting.

So here's what I'd say:

1. Condom (or 2...or 3 if you're doing very well)
2. Mints/Gum - some form of breath freshener
3. Cheat sheet

Note on the cheat sheet. Even if you don't use routines its good to write down things you're working on so you have a game plan when you go out. Also, in our wonderful age of technology, the cheat sheet doesn't have to be a physical piece of paper. I just write notes in my phone, makes it very easy/inconspicuous to check in set.

-Paper and pencil to write down numbers
-Some kind of prop--necklace etc--to use to motivate a story
-Contact solution to avoid having problems in the morning if you go to her place

When I first moved here, I become slightly obsessed with shit you can carry around everyday. Check this out.

State, charm.

Oh and then the trifecta: cell phone, keys, wallet.

This ridiculous image popped into my mind. For shits and giggles - buy a few of the items from the site. Put them on a chain, wrap it around your neck and then go out on a Sarge. I'm sure you'd get a lot of attention! Just don't know if all of it will be the kind you'd want.
